Mark Chancellor

Mark Chancellor is the chief operations officer for the The Kavli Foundation. He is a finance, operations, and administrative professional with over 29 years of relevant experience, spanning across higher education, nonprofits, entertainment, professional sports, consumer products, and consulting services.

Prior to joining the foundation, Mark served as the CFO and director of space management and logistics for UCLA’s Facilities Management organization. In addition, he has held various leadership positions at the University of California, Riverside, The Walt Disney Company, and National Football League.

Mark holds an MBA from the University of La Verne and a B.S. in business administration from the University of California, Riverside. He is motivated by and continues to strive in making a positive contribution to society, adding value, evolving personally and professionally, and finding ways to help others. In his free time, Mark enjoys working out, cycling, spending time with his family, and traveling to different destinations by cruise ship. He is also an avid fan of sports at all levels and enjoys watching the Dodgers, Lakers, and Cowboys.
