Research Portfolio

The Kavli Foundation engages in strategic grantmaking to advance discovery in Neurobiology and Changing Ecosystems. Projects that we support focus on fundamental mechanisms of nervous system function and how those are impacted by or resilient to a range of environmental stressors. By supporting a diverse portfolio of projects, new knowledge may emerge about general principles underlying how neural resilience supports organismal resilience.
