The Science Public Engagement Partnership

Deepening understanding and practice of effective public engagement around basic research.

The Science Public Engagement Partnership (SciPEP) between the Department of Energy’s Office of Science and The Kavli Foundation, aims to deepen understanding of effective public engagement around basic research, explore how to improve this practice and provide tools for scientists and practitioners.

Request for Letters of Interest

The Kavli Foundation invites letters of interest for a contractor to help create an online resource document, “Insights and Practical Considerations for Communicating Basic Science” (working title). This virtual resource will be a concise and compelling synthesis of insights gained through the Science Public Engagement Partnership (SciPEP) and provide practical considerations and examples of strategic communications in the context of basic science.
