Scientific Landscape
Through a landscape analysis involving members of the scientific community, The Kavli Foundation identified Neurobiology and Changing Ecosystems as a critical scientific gap with potential benefits to humanity. Since launching the initiative in 2023, the foundation has cultivated a network of scientists committed to exploring the intersection of neuroscience and environmental change.
Through strategic partnerships, symposia at society meetings, Kavli-hosted events, community presentations and webinars, and a community Slack workspace, the neurobiology and changing ecosystems community embodies a collaborative spirit, tackling a singular scientific problem with broad approaches and perspectives.
